Come join us for a day of refreshment, renewal, and rejuvenation. Professional counselors will lead breakout sessions* on topics related to women. REVEALING THE REAL YOU
How do you answer the following questions: Who am I? How do others see me? How does God see me? Why am I here any way? This interactive presentation will reveal how we form our identity, what influences our identity, what God says about our identity, and the reasons we are here. Come and discover the REAL you!
RELATING TO CHILDREN
Interacting with children, whether as a parent, aunt, grandparent, teacher, daycare provider, neighbor, or friend can be tricky business. It can be hard to find the balance so a child knows you love them without taking you for granted. This interactive session teaches the strategies most used by child therapists to promote healthy relationships.
RELATING TO THE MEN IN YOUR LIFE
Men are confusing! Whether it’s a father, brother, husband, son or coworker, we all have to interact with men. So what is a woman to do? This breakout session will use video, slides, and discussion to explore the characteristics of men and how to better relate to them.
**Lunch includes the choice of one entree:
1) Rockfish Dore’– with orange Fennel Sauce and Rice Pilaf.
2) Roasted Chicken – with Applewood smoked bacon, Criminni Mushrooms, Dijon Cream & Crispy Yukon Potatoes.
3) Roasted Vegetable and Polenta – Grilled portabella Mushroom, Sauteed Polenta Cake, Seasonal Vegetable and Root Vegetable Volute.
Luncheon Entrees include a variety of rolls and butter, house salad, fresh seasonal vegetables, creme brulee cheesecake for dessert, and a beverage.
Doors Open at 8:00am
There is a parking garage to the North-East of the Hilton. Cost is $1.50 all day. See you there!
